KMart is Open: My Rant

DALLAS - MAY 11: Forward Kenyon Martin #4 of the Denver Nuggets walks off the court after a 119-117 loss against the Dallas Mavericks in Game Four of the Western Conference Semifinals during the 2009 NBA Playoffs at American Airlines Center on May 11, 2009 in Dallas, Texas.

Mavs fans should consider themselves lucky that this series will most likely end soon because I can honestly say I forsee a Auburn Palace Brawl pt 2. This whole situation pisses me off for multiple reasons:

1. Mark Cuban you’re a billionaire and even though dudes mom was heckling you, you need to take it in stride. If she’s mixing it up with him and he wants to go back at her in good fun, that is one thing, but to take shots like he did was classless. Whatever it’s not like I ever held him in very high esteem though, money doesn’t by class.

2. I just read on NT that a few Dallas fans were ejected for either pouring a beer on, or throwing a beer at Martin’s mother. All I have to say is that fans, and not just Dallas but all fans, need to fall back. It seems like every sporting season throughout the year I either see something or hear about something that just disgusts me. Whether it is people picking fights with an opposing teams fan for no reason, or throwing things at each other. Makes me sick.

3. KMart, you and your mom need to fall back as well. Apparently after Antoine Wright got assesed the flagrant and while the refs were reviewing the foul Martin was patrolling the sideline getting into verbal altercations with a fans. And you could obviously see when the game was over that Martin was still yapping at fans on his way off the court.

Enough is enough, this has gone too far. Martin and Cuban need to have their little conversation, squash, and move on…Martin needs to not be mixing it up with fans, act like the grown man you are…

I would hate to see this spill over into next season and see something like the brawl in the Auburn Hills Palace because believe me, that’s where it’s headed.
